Star Insieme is the idea of being together as a community through hospitality. The space is designed to represent both Italy and Milan to the fullest, utilizing local materials, art, and personality, while encouraging the feeling of a community. The new design presents a place where both locals and tourists can come together to share ideas, while enjoying a contextual space that is both one with the city and also an oasis from the city. In order represent the feeling of “being Milanese” we derived inspiration  by the typical typology of the place in Italy where all of this occurs: a piazza, a space which is not defined by any time, age or occupation: it invites all that will visit it and encourages both socialization and relaxation with its architectural elements.

The main actor of the new space is a pool, which is glass on one side, becoming a light show at night for the restaurant section located directly next to it. The pool also has a direct relationship with the inside, passing through two representative arcs. The indoor space continues the design language through use of Marrazzi tiles and white white lime brushed bricks.
